A Z300R Electric ZTrak™ Mower has several features to simplify maintenance.
Electric powertrain frees you from most maintenance obligations
- No engine oil changes or disposal concerns
- No engine air filters to clean or replace
- No belts
- No grease points
- No need to add fuel stabilizer or remove fuel for seasonal storage
Accel Deep™ Mower Decks are designed to reduce buildup and simplify cleaning
- Mower decks are deep with a flat top
- Reduces the amount of material that escapes and drifts onto the operator and mower
- Reduces the accumulation of debris on the underside of the shell
- Few places on underside to catch material
- No tools are required to remove the footrest for full access the top of the mower deck
- No belts or belt guards to catch debris and necessitate cleaning
- Standard wash port injects water to clean the underside of the mower deck
- Optional MulchControl™ system enables you to mulch frequently
- Prevents the discharge of material in mulching mode
- Converts to side discharge in seconds if the grass is too tall to mulch

Example quick-response (QR) code label
John Deere riding lawn mowers are equipped with a QR code label that links to an owner support website. The label can be found on the rear fender, to the left of the seat.

The owner support website is formatted for smart phones and available without setting up an account and password. The QR code includes the mower’s serial number, enabling the owner support website to provide a maintenance schedule, service parts, attachments, how-to guide, videos, warranty information, and an operator’s manual for the specific mower.
The owner support website also allows users to purchase service parts, schedule dealer service, purchase extended warranties, and download the Equipment Mobile app. The Equipment Mobile app enables users to maintain a shared digital service record with their dealer.
Convenient service interval decal
The service interval decal includes recommended service points, intervals, and part numbers.
Push mode
If you need to push or tow the mower you can activate the push-mode switch which allows the drive wheels to roll freely.
Tie-down locations
Front and rear tie-down locations are provided for convenience and safety when trailering the mower.
